Why Pre-Wire Matters

Adding AV and smart home infrastructure to a completed home requires running cables through finished walls, accepting limitations in speaker and device placement, and working around construction decisions that cannot be changed. Pre-wire during construction eliminates these constraints. Speakers go exactly where they should go acoustically. Control panels go exactly where they work best architecturally. The structured cabling that connects every room is the right cable in the right place — not the best available compromise.

What We Install During Pre-Wire

• Structured cabling — Cat6A ethernet to every room and every device location, coax where required
• Speaker rough-in — in-ceiling and in-wall speaker rough-in boxes placed at acoustically correct locations before drywall
• Control panel rough-in — wall box locations for smart home keypads, lighting control panels, and touch screens
• Conduit — low-voltage conduit run through walls and floors for future wiring flexibility
• Equipment room preparation — dedicated low-voltage equipment rack space with power and ventilation provisions
• Theater room rough-in — screen wall blocking, projector ceiling rough-in, acoustic treatment blocking, tiered riser layout
