Every modern AV system rides on the home network. Streaming, Control4 commands, security cameras, smart thermostats, video doorbells, voice assistants, and remote system monitoring all depend on a network that performs under load. When the network is undersized or poorly designed, the symptoms look like AV problems, buffering during a movie, Control4 buttons that lag, cameras that drop offline, Sonos rooms that fall out of sync, but the actual cause is the infrastructure underneath.
Noble A-V designs and installs enterprise-grade home networks built around four principles: hardwired backhaul to every device that can take it, managed PoE switching at the rack for camera and access point power, ceiling-mounted access points placed for actual coverage geometry, and VLAN segmentation so smart-home IoT traffic stays separate from your laptops, phones, and work-from-home video calls. We specify Araknis and Ubiquiti gear, the same gear that runs commercial deployments, because consumer routers were never designed for the load a fully integrated home places on them.
Indiana luxury homes have brick, stone, layered drywall, and metal-roof outdoor structures that absorb and reflect Wi-Fi in ways consumer mesh kits can never overcome. The Noble approach is hardwired backhaul to every access point, ceiling placement instead of shelf placement, and proper power management so the access points don't compete with each other. The result is a single seamless network that follows you from the basement theater to the third-floor bonus room to the pool deck, without renaming devices or switching networks.
Every Noble A-V residential network ships with OvrC remote monitoring built in. We see the health of every device, switches, access points, the firewall, and can resolve most issues remotely. When something does need a site visit, we know exactly what's wrong before we get there.

How we work
01
Site Survey & Coverage Map
We walk every floor and identify dead zones, interference sources, and the specific spots where Wi-Fi has to be reliable, home office, theater, outdoor entertainment, smart home processor closet. The design is built around your actual coverage needs, not a generic floor plan.
02
Structured Cabling Plan
Cat6/Cat6a backbone runs to every AV location, smart home processor, camera, and Wi-Fi access point. Hardwired backhaul means access points talk to the rack on copper, not over the air, which is why a properly designed home network keeps streaming, calls, and Control4 reliable when the kids are gaming and someone is on Zoom.
03
Rack & AP Installation
Managed PoE switches, enterprise-grade access points placed on the ceiling for proper coverage geometry, and a tidy rack build with labeled patch panels. Karl, Josh, and the Noble management staff are certified network administrators, this is not subcontracted out.
04
Configuration, VLANs & Monitoring
Separate networks for guests, smart home devices, cameras, and your family, so IoT clutter never slows down your work-from-home traffic. Remote monitoring through OvrC means we can see issues before you do and fix them without rolling a truck.
